Circle of Distinguished Leaders Induction Scheduled for April 4th
Alexandria, VA . . . ICPF has announced that it will honor its most recent Circle of Distinguished Leaders nominees on April 4, 10:45 AM in the Tennessee Ballroom at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville during the AICC spring meeting.
Chuck Fienning, immediate past president of AICC, and his family will be front and center as Chuck's father, Edward H. Fienning (Kankakee Container Co) and uncle, Richard N. Hoerner, Sr. (Hoerner-Waldorf) will be recognized in honor of their work and leadership in advancing the corrugated packaging industry. Dick Hoerner, Sr. was President of Hoerner Boxes, Inc. and later served as Chairman of Hoerner-Waldorf Corp., St. Paul, MN. Edward Fienning, former AICC Chairman Chuck Fienning’s father, worked for Chuck’s Uncle Dick from 1938-58 with the exception of service in the USN from 1941-45. Edward Fienning started Kankakee Container Co. in 1958 and its subsidiary, Sumter Packaging, in 1980.
Additional firms and individuals can join in this nomination of Mr. Fienning or Mr. Hoerner by making a 2014 tax deductible contribution to ICPF in the name of either nominee. There is not a set amount for individual contributions and those firms or persons nominating Mr. Fienning and Mr. Hoerner to ICPF's Circle of Distinguished Leaders will be recognized during ICPF's induction ceremony in Nashville, and in a subsequent trade press release. The Fienning family will be notified of those firms and individuals making contributions in their honor.
