Rutgers Packaging Engineer Career Night

The Eleventh Annual Rutgers Packaging Engineering Career Night will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. The event is held to provide students and industry professionals a chance to connect and discuss potential opportunities.

The venue will open at 2:30 PM for professionals to set up their tables for the career fair and give professionals the opportunity to connect with one another. The Career Fair will open to students at 3:30 PM. This event is the perfect occasion to inform students on your company, and collect resumes for current or future co-ops, summer internships and full time positions. If your company is not hiring, we encourage you to join us to discuss with students and recent alumni about your company and experiences in the packaging industry.

During the Career Fair, you will have the opportunity to connect with newly appointed Packaging Director, Dr. Hao Lin on the program’s updates. As well, Packaging and Mechanical Engineering faculty will be available to discuss current and prospective packaging research and testing projects. Dinner will be available at the event.

ICPF Holiday Weekend in New York

ICPF's 2022 Holiday Weekend in New York (Friday - Sunday, December 9 -11, 2022) will include a Saturday Broadway matinee of this year's top Tony Award nominee, MJ.  The new musical was nominated for the 2022 record of 10 Tony Awards and is considered by many to be the best musical to hit Broadway this year.  MJ features over 25 of Michael Jackson's biggest hits. "The show takes audiences behind the scenes as Michael prepares for his 1992 World Tour, providing an in-depth look at his creative process."  

 

This year's weekend event will begin with a Friday evening reception at Bacall's, sponsored by Pratt Industries. Free time on Saturday morning allows for personal holiday shopping, sightseeing, brunches, etc.  ICPF guests then will attend a Saturday matinee of the latest Broadway hit, MJ, sponsored by BW Papersystems.  Saturday night, participants will be treated to a reception and dinner at New York's renowned Empire Steak House East restaurant. The reception is sponsored by Fosber America and the dinner is sponsored by WestRock.  Additional weekend co-sponsors include Green Bay Packaging and Greif.

 

Bring your spouse or guest for holiday shopping, sightseeing, dining, Broadway plays, and enjoying New York's holiday season. All while supporting ICPF’s educational programs and student outreach.  Many participating executives (manufacturing executives, box plant owners, and service & supplier executives) invite clients and reward key executives from their companies with this special holiday weekend event.
